About Me
Hi! I am a second-year student at ASU studying supply chain management. While I would still consider myself a novice, since I recently switched from pursuing a bachelor of science in computer science to a bachelor of science in supply chain management, I believe that the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that I have obtained will complement supply chain management wonderfully. Some notable experiences I have are project management in my Textbook Management System and Fine Motor Skill Game for Toddlers projects, where I managed and coordinated milestones and work division as well as being a developer for those projects.
Interests
♦️ Supply Chain Management
- Supply chain management is the field of procuring products, managing the many operations, and analyzing the logistics of a company. It is what drives every company to success.
♦️ Back-end development
- Although I find the logical aspect of back-end development a little more challenging than front-end development, I find that solving challenges gives me a sense of achievement.
♦️ Project Management
- Managing projects has been something that I was always good at, and I feel as though it is crucial to delivering a high-quality product.
Involvements
♦️ Kintsugi
- During my time at Kintsugi, I have made many people that I am now good friends with. As the philanthropy chair of Kintsugi, I am in charge of coordinating with our members numerous philanthropy events to attend. This includes finding a time and place that is suitable for as many of our members as possible to ensure we provide quality philanthropic services. Some of our philanthropy events include cooking at the Ronald McDonald House and cleaning Tempe Town Lake.
♦️ Google Developers Student Club
- The Google Developers Student Club is a more hands-on student organization in the sense that I get to learn more about actual programming concepts. I have enjoyed being a part of this club and attending their workshops.
Personal Hobbies
♦️ Running
- I find that going on runs clears my head when I am feeling stressed out and is a good way to get some exercise in.
♦️ Programming
- Programming is something that I genuinely find fulfillment in. The feeling of solving a problem that I have been struggling with is a great feeling.
♦️ Learning Korean
- Although I am ethnically Korean, I grew up speaking English for the majority of my life. I have been learning Korean lately so that I can communicate with some of my family members more comfortably.
